Alpha Unleashed (Alpha Girl series)
I am a happy camper! I just finished Alpha Unleashed, the 5th book in Aileen Erin’s Alpha Girl series. I feel like I have been waiting forever for this book to come out, but it was absolutely worth the wait. This world of werewolves, witches, demons, and fey gets you so drawn in that by the time you reach the end you are emotionally spent from everything Erin puts her characters through.
Aileen Erin strikes a perfect balance between romance and action. No one relationship — whether it be Tessa and Dastien, Meredith and Donovan, or Claudia and Lucas — over shadows everything the group needs to do to stop the antagonist, Luciana. Erin also does an excellent job showing how the support from the people who love you can help overcome insecurities.
It wasn’t just about support from Tessa’s mate Dastien that kept Tessa moving forward with her plans to thwart Luciana, but it was her support from her cousins Claudia and Raphael, support from her pack led by Mr. Dawson, support from her family driven by her father who stands by her side when the crap hits the fan, and the support from all the were-packs around the world who come together to bring down Luciana.
This book goes beyond nail biting. Right when you think Erin is going to go left, she goes right and keeps the story fresh and intriguing all the way to the end. I absolutely recommend reading this book, as well as the four before it. Even if you have already read all five, read them again and allow Aileen Erin and the world she has created to be your escape.
