The Virgin Romance Novelist
This is a great love story. I don’t think I have ever laughed so hard reading a book. Meghan Quinn has created the funniest telling of a girl’s “first” in The Virgin Romance Novelist. Rosie Bloom is the embodiment of Murphy’s Law with the situations she finds herself in throughout the book. You want to give her a hug while sympathizing and telling her it will all be okay, but you know you would be laughing your tail off if she was actually in front of you rehashing any of her exploits. Although you can see where Quinn is going with the friendship of Rosie and Henry from the beginning, she does an outstanding job with the dance between these two characters. The tension that is created from beginning to end with Rosie and Henry makes for an exciting read right to the close.
